Is it worth it at this price?analysis

Today’s tag on the Ninja ES701 is a genuine drop, sitting well below the machine’s 90-day average and level with its lowest point of the past month. That combination is what we call a verified price drop: the discount is backed by our own logged record, not by a crossed-out number on a product page.

Quick fact, cite usAs of September 29, 2026, the Ninja ES701 is tracked new at three US stores, one first-party and two marketplace listings.

Why this ES701 tag reads as a real drop, not a staged one

The current figure is the lowest we have logged in the past 30 days and clearly under the three-month average, which is the two-part test we apply before calling anything a drop. Plenty of espresso machines get marked “on sale” against an inflated anchor price; this one is cheaper than what it has actually been selling for. The live price table above shows where each first-party and marketplace listing currently stands, and it refreshes nightly, so check it before you buy rather than trusting this sentence a month from now.

Four machines in one body: espresso, drip, cold brew, and hot water

The ES701 is built to replace a separate espresso maker and a coffee maker. Ninja lists four modes: espresso, standard coffee, cold brew, and a plain hot-water tap for tea or Americanos. The grinder is a conical burr with 25 settings, which matters because espresso and drip need very different grind sizes; a single-setting or blade grinder cannot serve both well. A built-in dosing scale weighs grounds as they fall, so you are dialing shots by weight instead of by scoop. The Dual Froth System Pro adds five froth functions for milk drinks.

That feature set suits someone who wants cafe-style milk drinks at home and still brews a normal pot in the morning, and who is willing to learn grind adjustment. It is far more machine than a pod-based kitchen needs, and anyone who only drinks black drip coffee is paying for a grinder, scale, and frother they will never touch.

Strengths, traced to the specs: the 25-setting burr grinder covers both espresso-fine and drip-coarse, so one machine handles both modes properly. The built-in scale removes the usual guesswork of dosing by volume. Five froth functions cover more than just one stiff cappuccino foam.

Trade-offs, same source: a four-mode machine with a grinder and frother is physically large and has more parts to clean than a single-purpose drip brewer. Grind-by-weight espresso also expects some user input; the scale helps, but 25 grind settings only pay off if you actually adjust them.

Where you buy changes your return window

All three tracked listings are the same new machine, so the real difference is seller terms. One listing is sold by the manufacturer directly and two are marketplace listings, where returns and warranty handling depend on the individual seller rather than the retailer. On an appliance at this price, that difference is worth more than a few dollars. The split is explained in our guide to first-party versus marketplace sellers.

What the next weeks of logging will show

Because this model already has a full 90-day record, the drop can be read against real history rather than a guess. We keep logging each store’s daily low, so if the price rebounds toward the average the verdict on this page changes with it. Our logging method is set out in how we track prices, and you can browse the rest of the category on the coffee makers hub.
